nice one.

thanks for leaving all the mistakes and things that didnae work as they should in.  i've been trying to get my head round the new bones tool myself and running into similar problems, with things not working as the documentation says they should. i'd been wondering if i was doing it all wrong, so it's good to see that other people are having similar problems.

another one to file under 'flash features which would be great... if they actually worked as they should'

Hey! Thanks so much for this series of tutorials. It is incredibly helpful. I have spent the last two weeks trying to find tutorials that explain trouble shooting! I am trying to use your techniques of creating mock 'anchor points' (the black dots you used) but on my figure, the bones will anchor to those points but not anchor to the symbol that is below the anchor points. Any tips would be appreciated.thanks so much

I've been busy learning Flash for some days now and now I remember why I gave up years ago. Exiting possibilities and plenty of documentation and tutorials, yet many things don't work or work differently. It makes it very difficult to make progress or even actually start doing something. Precious time is ticking away while you first thought that that overly complex cryptic non-intuitive 'ActionScript' was going to be the bottleneck. Sigh. In the old days it was very easy to learn to program and it was very easy to create artwork.
